As a practical exercise with our turf students ‐ we constructed a putting green using NZ Browntop Bentgrass (Agrostis capillaris) and we performed a trial by blending Mineral Magic into only one half of the green.
Differences were soon noticeable soon after germination with a quicker establishment rate and a denser and rigid turf sward on the treated side . In addition, when we took a soil sample, the roots on the treated side were over 4 times the depth.
It was very visible by line and quality where the soil was treated. Quite an impressive result
